We have started grooming in limited arears around Taylor Valley. Not all trails are open/passible at this time. What cover this is, is thin and early season conditions. Use caution. Trail conditions update for Upper Valley Snow Packers.

Typically held in February, 2021 would mark the 50th consecutive year of the long standing tradition of gathering and enjoying some delicious chicken dinner in the community. Over the years we have welcomed generations of families, snowmobilers and non-snowmobilers alike, from down the street, across town, across the state and beyond. The dedication of the volunteers involved in the shopping, food prep, setup, cooking, serving and cleanup has been key to the successful the longevity of this event. Some years we've had hundred of sleds ride right to the event and other years we've all had to drive by car, but regardless of you got there the chicken was always there hot and ready.
In light of the current health crisis across the state and restrictions on gathering and travel, the club has decided the 2021 50th annual chick BBQ will be cancelled. As much as is breaks out heart to put a gap in this storied tradition, we feel this is the responsible thing to do. We no doubt plan to return in 2022. This year our major fund raising event will take the form of a raffle, with all tickets being sold online via our website. Stay tuned for more details. Here's hoping everyone has a safe and enjoyable riding season. And remember our enjoyment of the trails would not be possible without the generosity of the landowners who grant us access to land we ride on. Please ride responsibly and thanks a landowner if you see them. With the recent changes at the VAST office and the addition of a new consolidated and centralized online TMA program, we will no longer be selling TMA via our website. With this consolidated system, the club and county dues are being made universal across the state so there will be an increase from our historically low dues.
TMA's will continue to be sold in person at club meetings. More information to follow regarding trail work days as they get closer. Well, we all know it could come early this season and it has. All trails are 'CLOSED'.
Hopefully everyone enjoyed it while it lasted! Our March meeting will be held on 3/20/2020.
Groomer operators are reporting that more brush cutting has been done this week and all trails have been recently groomed in time for the weekend.
Trail conditions are the best of the season right now ! The trails are in great shape. More brush was cut on Friday and Saturday as well as everything groomed. There are still some branches and low hanging limbs from the last wet storm, but the trails have improved significantly.
